We also know how important it is to look and feel great at the beach or the pool and to protect our skin from the sun. In a world of waste and mass over-production, UBe is made locally and sourced wherever possible from Australian-made materials of the highest quality. We make our swimwear to last.
Inspired by the ethos of Japanese and Scandinavian design, UBe products draw creative inspiration from the natural world with its emphasis on form and functionality. Our clothing seeks to express something of that dichotomy, finding inspiration in nature's ability to create protective external layers that are things of beauty; the bark of a tree after a summer storm, the exquisite symmetry in the spiral of a shell, the adaptive genius of a cactus or the glossy polished carapace of a beetle.
UBe's mission is to seek out solutions to the mass-produced mountain of waste by creating bespoke, sustainable, ecologically responsible, long-lasting products that are made with care.
